And in we rode into the land of Strawberries!

Chand! The frail looking guy with a brain like a pentium chip. Period! Back in 2006 I met this guy and a decade later we are plannig for a ride that we ourselves dont know if we can complete! What can we say? Like Ke$ha sings, we are the crazy kids..Talking about rides, this crazy guy reminds me of an equally crazy ride that we had together sometime back in 2012. I was always visitng Pune and made his place a camping site for most of my Pune visits. With the earth's end and doomsday doing the rounds back then, we decided to have a crack at a wild adventure for that would last a mere couple of days. I was in favour of disappearing into thin air but saner thoughts prevailed and we started looking for a place that could be done over in a mere 48 hours since Infosys was known to have a strict reporting decorum :P Nothing else in mind, we decided to carry our friend(s) -the ubiquitous Mota (a character you would love if you have read Chand's other fantabulous blogs) and Mintu (yeah you read it right, its mint with a U not an O :P)

The Chronicles of CoC: Chapter III - Learning their ways

It was a grand welcome to the village. I was carried by the huge creatures called Giants into the designated square, rather the Army Camp as they called it. It was the venue for my welcome celebration. Barbecues of carrots, chicken, ham and beef were being prepared around the camp fire. Music, chatter, singing and dancing continued amidst the venue.
But, truly speaking, I could not enjoy a bit of it. I had a lot of questions running through my mind. How did they know me? Why were they rejoicing my arrival? What does the prophecy say? Why did she call me 'Chief'?

The Chronicles of CoC: Chapter II - The Settlement

Soon after the war, as the green creatures left, the ones in the settlement had started reconstructing the buildings. In fact they did little by themselves. It was some magic that helped create those buildings automatically. Tombstones lay here and there signifying the death of some green creatures in the battle.

Their settlement was pretty diverse. There was this big hut in the center and other buildings surrounding it. Some beautiful maidens used to come inside and outside from there. They roamed around bushes and in between buildings, probably inspecting the whole settlement and then go back into the big hut. Then there were a few medium huts which had some shiny metals dangling from their walls. Those buildings used to glow at times and sometimes creatures like myself used to come out with a similar sharp shiny metal in their hands. Sometimes, the beautiful blondes with wooden sticks also came out. Even once, I had seen the green creatures I hated come out from the same metal dangling medium sized hut. But, they never looted or destroyed anything around. Each one of these 3 types of creatures that came out had one thing in common. They always moved to one designated square with a fire in its center, located at the edge of the settlement. Once in a while, big humongous creatures came out from these medium huts. They were really huge, walked very slowly and took a lot of place in the designated squares. At the extreme edge of the settlement there were two extremely small huts and in each a grinning guy lived. He always carried a hammer wherever he went. But, from what I noticed, these two guys were the ones who fixed and built everything around the settlement. There were two more different type of buildings but far from the edge of the settlement I couldn't understand what they were. Though, one of them seemed to have a lot of pipes and filled with the pinkish liquid while the other had a small glowing tunnel.

The Chronicles of CoC: Chapter I - I was born

I was born LOST. When I first came on these lands, I did not know who or how I was created. I opened my eyes to pure blue skies and lay surrounded by picturesque deciduous trees. Long brown barks seemed to reach the skies, while light & deep green leaves hindered them from touching the blue canopy.
